Congratulations, everyone, on a really splendid concert!
An evening that contained Bach, Dry Bones, and most stops in between, was always going to be a huge test for any choral group but you certainly came up trumps.
The three Gwyn Arch arrangements had superb light and shade, tuning in the three pieces with organ was excellent and Dry Bones was stunning!
Singing against a brass quartet would have been hard enough – singing against 25 of them required something else. Whatever it was, you found it! What a rousing finale Jerusalem was too – a standing ovation was assured.
The Epsom and Ewell Silver Band were just awesome. Jointly, we gave the audience about 300 years of wonderful music – excellent value for money!
I look forward to seeing you all in September for our exciting new season.
